Linda has taught GCSE Science and Maths for over 30 years covering a wide range of examination boards. Ensuring you are learning the right material is essential as it varies considerably from board to board and syllabus to syllabus.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We offer individual or group lessons in maths and sciences for pupils in secondary education. As well as teaching the subject matter, testing understanding and dealing with answering examination questions, we like to ensure that pupils can think their way around problems. This really helps with answering the "unexpected" exam questions. We also deal with confidence and exam and revision techniques. As well as explaining concepts we work on teaching pupils to think for themselves and to broaden their knowledge thus heightening interest and understanding. We find most pupils at the outset have not been taught to question but to accept what they are told and learn it. By helping them to think around the subject and question; confidence quickly grows and exam grades improve dramatically.
