11+ Assessment

Before attending a course we prefer pupils to sit an initial assessment. The aim of the assessment is to see where we are and give an indication as to potential success in the 11+ examination.

The assessment lasts one and a half hours and pupils are guided where necessary through a range of questions covering:

Verbal
Non Verbal
Comprehension
Maths

Following the assessment we arrange a time to go through our findings in detail.

You will be given an honest assessment based on Linda's 30 years’ experience.

We can then guide you and help you to make an informed decision for your child.

WHEN SHOULD I CONSIDER AN ASSESSMENT

We believe that the best time to contact us about an assessment is anytime from the start of school year 3 through to the beginning of school year 4.

Completing the assessment by the end of Year 3 allows us to offer you more options such as a year 4 course. The year 4 course is aimed at ensuring the basics of maths and English are in place to ensure pupils can cope with the year 5 course. It should be noted that some pupils will be advanced enough not to need the year 4 course.
